England lost their opening UEFA Nations League group game 1-2 to Spain on the 8th September with arguably Gareth Southgate’s best 11, with Rashford scoring. On the same evening Switzerland beat Iceland 6-0. Three days later, making 8 changes to the starting side – effectively fielding the reserves, England beat Switzerland 1-0, with Rashford scoring.
